Solo.Surya ("we", "our", "the app") is built around a single principle: your astrology is yours alone. This Privacy Policy explains what data the app handles, where it lives, and the rights you have over it.

1. Our Privacy Promise

Solo.Surya is an offline-first application. All Vedic astrology calculations — natal charts, dashas, transits, panchang, astrocartography, and synastry — are performed locally on your iPhone using the Swiss Ephemeris engine bundled with the app. We do not operate servers that store your birth details or chart data.

2. Information Stored on Your Device

To produce your chart, the app saves the following information locally inside your device's secure app sandbox:

Your name, gender, and date, time, and place of birth
Saved partner or friend profiles you create for synastry
Your preferences (theme, language, notification settings)
Locally cached geocoding results for places you've searched

This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly export or share it.

3. No Accounts, No Cloud Sync

Solo.Surya does not require an account. There is no sign-up, no login, and no cloud synchronisation. Your chart, partner profiles and preferences live exclusively inside your device's app sandbox. If you reinstall the app or switch iPhones, your data does not follow — because it never left the original device in the first place.

4. In-App Purchases & Rewarded Ads

Purchases are processed by Apple through StoreKit. We never see your payment information. If you choose to watch a rewarded ad to unlock optional content, the ad is served by a third-party ad network which may collect limited, anonymised device signals as described in their own policies. You can decline ads at any time.

5. Notifications

If you grant permission, the app schedules local notifications (e.g., your Daily Dasha Pulse) directly on your device. No notification content is routed through our servers.

6. Location

Location access is optional and used only to suggest your current city when entering a birth or transit location. Coordinates are not transmitted to us.

7. Children's Privacy

Solo.Surya is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from them.

8. Your Rights

You may delete all locally stored data at any time by removing your profile inside the app or by uninstalling the app from your device.

9. Changes to This Policy

If this policy materially changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and surface the changes inside the app on next launch.
