Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Solo.Surya iOS application ("the app"). By downloading, installing, or using the app, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. License

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use the app on Apple-branded devices that you own or control, in accordance with the Apple Media Services Terms.

2. Astrological Content — Important Disclaimer

Solo.Surya provides Vedic astrology insights for cultural, educational, and entertainment purposes only. Content surfaced by the app — including dasha periods, transit cues, decision-timing windows, compatibility scores, and lucky numbers — is not intended as, and must not be relied upon as, a substitute for:

Medical, psychological, or psychiatric advice
Legal, financial, or investment advice
Professional counselling of any kind

You are solely responsible for any decisions you make based on the app's content.

3. Accuracy of Calculations

Astronomical calculations are powered by the Swiss Ephemeris and standard Vedic algorithms (Lahiri ayanamsha by default). While we strive for high precision, no guarantees are made as to the accuracy of any insight or interpretation. Results depend on the birth data you provide.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app, except as expressly permitted by law
Use the app to harass, defame, or harm any person based on its outputs
Resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit any content generated by the app without permission

5. In-App Purchases

The app may offer optional unlocks via Apple's In-App Purchase system. All purchases are final and refunds are governed by Apple's policies. Unlocks are bound to your Apple ID.

6. Third-Party Services

The app integrates with Apple StoreKit for in-app purchases and an optional advertising network for rewarded ads. Your use of those services is governed by their respective terms. The app does not integrate cloud sync, account systems, or remote servers.

7. Intellectual Property

The app, its design, code, illustrations, content pool, and trademarks are owned by Solo.Surya and protected by international copyright laws. The Swiss Ephemeris is used under its own license terms.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The app is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Solo.Surya shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the app.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the app if you violate these Terms. You may stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in the jurisdiction where Solo.Surya is operated, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
