SOLO.SHOTS ("the App," "we," "us," or "our") is developed and operated by Gül Eda Aydemir, an independent iOS developer. For any privacy inquiries, contact us at the address listed at the bottom of this document.
We want to be explicit about what we never do:
All core app data is stored exclusively on your device using Apple's native frameworks (SwiftData / Core Data / file system):
If you enable iCloud Backup in your device settings, this data may be included in your personal iCloud backup. This backup is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy and is accessible only to you.
The free version of the App displays advertisements served by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect and use data including device identifiers, IP address, and interaction data to serve personalized or contextual ads, subject to your device's Ad Tracking settings. You can limit ad tracking in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking on your iOS device.
AdMob's data practices are governed by the Google Privacy Policy. Upgrading to SOLO.SHOTS Premium completely removes all advertisements.
In-app purchases and subscriptions are processed entirely by Apple's App Store via StoreKit. We do not receive or store your payment card details. Apple handles all billing, receipt validation, and subscription management. Apple's data practices are governed by the Apple Privacy Policy.
If you have opted in to share diagnostic and usage data with Apple (Settings → Privacy → Analytics & Improvements → Share iPhone Analytics), Apple may share anonymized, aggregated analytics data with us via App Store Connect. This data does not include personally identifiable information and is used solely to identify crashes and improve performance.
The App requests access to your device's camera and photo library to enable its core functionality. These permissions are:
You can revoke these permissions at any time in Settings → SOLO.SHOTS. Photos captured or imported are stored locally on your device and are never transmitted to us.
The App may request permission to send you local push notifications (e.g., daily reminders to capture your progress photo). These notifications are scheduled entirely on-device. We do not use a push notification server and do not transmit your device push token to any third-party service.
SOLO.SHOTS is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information through the App, please contact us immediately and we will take steps to delete such information.
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights under applicable data protection law (including GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, and others). Since we do not maintain a server-side database of user data, most rights (access, deletion, portability) are exercised directly on your device:

Because your data is stored on your own device, its security is protected by iOS's built-in security features, including hardware-level encryption and Face ID / Touch ID. We encourage you to keep your device software up to date and use a strong device passcode.
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in the App or applicable law. Material changes will be communicated via an in-app notice or an App Store update note. Continued use of the App after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page will always reflect the most recent revision.
