Solo.Shots Support
Quick answer
Email solostaseraofficial@gmail.com. It goes straight to the developer. Please include your iPhone or iPad model, its iOS version, the Solo.Shots version (Settings → About Solo.Shots) and what you were trying to do. Most common fixes are below.
How do I restore Premium on a new device?
Open Solo.Shots → Settings (the gear on the Home screen) → Subscription → Restore Purchases, signed in with the same Apple Account you subscribed with. Premium is tied to your Apple Account, not to a Solo.Shots account (there isn't one).
How do I cancel Premium or get a refund?
Cancel in your Apple Account: iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Solo.Shots → Cancel Subscription. Premium stays active until the end of the period you paid for. Refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com; the developer can't issue them.
Why isn't iCloud Backup working?
iCloud Backup & Sync is a Premium feature. Check Solo.Shots → Settings → iCloud Backup and read the status line:
| Status in the app | What to do |
|---|---|
| Off | Turn on "Back Up to iCloud". If you can't, check that Premium is active (restore it above). |
| Sign in to iCloud in the Settings app to back up. | Sign in to iCloud in iPhone Settings, then come back to the app. |
| Your iCloud storage is full. | Free up iCloud space or choose a bigger iCloud plan in iPhone Settings → your name → iCloud. |
| … items waiting to upload / Waiting for first backup | Keep the app open on Wi-Fi for a while, or tap "Back Up Now". Large projects take time. |
| Backup paused: … | Check your internet connection and try "Back Up Now". If the message stays, email us the exact text. |
How do I move my photos to a new iPhone?
- With Premium: keep iCloud Backup on, install Solo.Shots on the new device, sign in to the same iCloud account and restore Premium. Your projects come back from your private iCloud.
- Without Premium: set up the new iPhone from an iCloud or computer backup, or with Quick Start; Solo.Shots data normally moves with your other app data. As a safety copy, also open the menu in each project and choose Export All to Photos before you switch (putting those photos back into a project needs Premium).
Timelapse from your photos says "No faces found" or "Not enough photos yet"
This feature looks through your photo library on your iPhone, so it can only use photos it can see and recognise:
- "Photo Access Needed" or "You've shared only some photos": allow full access in iPhone Settings → Solo.Shots → Photos.
- "No faces found" / "No cats or dogs found": try another option (Me, Someone Else or My Pet). "Me" starts from your Selfies album; "My Pet" works with cats and dogs.
- "Not enough photos yet": it needs a number of clear, fairly front-facing photos of the same face across time. Try another face, or come back when your library has more photos.
- Screenshots are skipped on purpose. If iCloud Photos keeps space-saving versions on your iPhone, the search uses those; saving the result can take longer while iOS downloads the full-size originals.
Why don't my reminders arrive?
- Check that notifications are allowed: iPhone Settings → Solo.Shots → Notifications.
- Reminders are set per project: open the project → menu → Reminders, turn on the reminder and pick a time.
- Weekly projects remind you on Mondays; monthly projects on the 1st of the month.
- A Focus mode can silence notifications. Add Solo.Shots to the Focus's allowed apps if you want reminders to come through.
My widget shows the wrong project or doesn't update
- Touch and hold the widget → Edit Widget → choose the project. If you don't choose one, the widget picks the project that needs attention.
- The widget updates when Solo.Shots saves new data; iOS may delay a refresh a little. If it still looks out of date, open the app once.
- Tapping the widget opens that project's camera.
How do I remove the watermark or the ads?
With Premium, an optional monthly subscription, all ads go away and posters and DNA Cards are made without the SOLO.SHOTS watermark. For videos, tap the small × next to the watermark in the video editor preview to remove it before you export. See what's free and what Premium adds.
How do I delete my data?
Delete photos or projects in the app, or delete the app. Deleting the app doesn't delete photos you saved to the Photos app or your Premium iCloud copy. With Premium iCloud Backup on, deleting a project in the app also deletes its iCloud copy; you can also remove Solo.Shots data in iPhone Settings → your name → iCloud → Manage Account Storage. Details are in the Privacy Policy.
