Common issues & fixes

Chart accuracy

My chart looks wrong

Birth chart accuracy depends entirely on the birth time, date, and location you entered. Even a 4-minute difference can shift your Ascendant. Open Profile → Edit and verify all three fields. The location must be the city of birth, not your current location. After saving, the chart recomputes immediately.

Subscriptions

Manage or cancel my subscription

Subscriptions are managed entirely through your Apple ID. Open the iOS Settings app → tap your name at the top → tap Subscriptions → select Solo.Surya. From there you can change plans, turn off auto-renew, or cancel. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

Restore

Restore purchases

Open the app → Settings → Premium → Restore Purchases. Make sure you're signed into the same Apple ID you used to buy.

Refunds

Request a refund

Refunds are handled by Apple. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com and select Solo.Surya from your purchase history.

Permissions

Permission prompts re-appear

Solo.Surya never tracks you across apps. The location, notification, and tracking prompts each appear once. To re-enable any, go to iOS Settings → Solo.Surya.

Notifications

I'm not getting notifications

Open iOS Settings → Solo.Surya → Notifications and confirm Allow Notifications is on. Inside the app, check Settings → Notifications for daily Panchang and transit reminders.

Data & privacy

Where is my chart stored?

Every chart, partner profile, and saved insight stays on your iPhone. Solo.Surya has no servers, no accounts, and no cloud sync. If you delete the app, your data is removed with it. To export or back up, use iCloud Backup at the device level (iOS Settings → your name → iCloud → iCloud Backup).

Reinstall

Recover after reinstall

Because data is local-only, reinstalling clears your saved profiles. To preserve them, ensure iCloud Backup is enabled before deleting the app — restoring from backup will bring everything back. Subscriptions are tied to your Apple ID and restore automatically.

Pricing

What does Premium include?

Premium removes ads and unlocks advanced features such as the Dasha Pulse trend graph, extended divisional charts, and full Astrocartography filters. Plans renew automatically until cancelled. You can manage subscriptions in your Apple ID settings.

Compatibility

Which iPhones are supported?

Solo.Surya runs on iPhone with iOS 16 or later. iPad is supported in compatibility mode. The app works fully offline once installed — no internet required for charts, dashas, or panchang.

Languages

Is Solo.Surya translated?

Yes. Multiple languages are supported. Change in Settings → Language.

Accuracy

Which ayanamsa is used?

Lahiri (Chitrapaksha) — the standard for sidereal Vedic astrology — powered by Swiss Ephemeris.
