DUMP is an offline photo and video dump maker for iPhone and iPad. It has no account system, no server, and no way to receive your photos. This policy explains exactly what that means, what DUMP does with your photos on your device, what stays there, and what Apple handles on our behalf.

1. Who we are
DUMP is developed and published by Gül Eda Aydemir, an independent developer based in Türkiye, acting as the data controller for the limited purposes described below. Contact: solostaseraofficial@gmail.com.
This policy covers the DUMP app for iPhone and iPad (App Store name "DUMP: Carousel & Collage") and this website. It applies to everyone who uses the app, anywhere in the world.
2. What we do not collect
To be unambiguous, DUMP does not:
- Require an account, email address, phone number or sign-in of any kind;
- Upload, back up, mirror or transmit your photos, videos or projects anywhere;
- Send any analysis of your photos anywhere. DUMP's smart features (Smart Dump and the Sunday "Your week" draft) look at photos on your device only, using Apple's on-device Vision framework, to skip blurry shots, near-duplicates, receipts and documents and to balance a dump. DUMP counts faces to tell people shots from scenery; it never identifies who anyone is. See section 3;
- Include advertising, ad networks or ad identifiers;
- Include third-party analytics, attribution or crash-reporting SDKs;
- Track you across other apps or websites, or build a profile of you;
- Sell, rent or share personal information with anyone.
DUMP's features (picking photos, editing, layouts, templates, stickers, frames, text, filters and export) all work with your device in airplane mode. The only network activity DUMP itself starts is Apple's StoreKit framework loading subscription prices, processing a purchase or restore, and periodically confirming that an active subscription is still valid. No content you create is ever part of that traffic.
iCloud Photos. If you use iCloud Photos with Optimize iPhone Storage, some of your full-size originals live in your iCloud library rather than on the device. When DUMP shows, plays or saves one of those items, iOS may download your own original from iCloud through Apple's Photos framework. That transfer is between your device and your iCloud account; DUMP has no server and receives nothing.
3. Photos permission & on-device analysis
DUMP asks for access to your photo library because that is the material it works with. Access is used for these purposes:
- Reading the photos and videos you select, or that Random Dump and Smart Dump pull in, so they can be shown, edited and rendered inside the app;
- Choosing photos for you, on your device. When you use Smart Dump, DUMP reads photos by date and uses Apple's on-device Vision framework to estimate sharpness, find near-duplicates, measure what stands out in a photo and count faces, so it can drop blurry shots and repeats and mix people, places and details. It samples up to 180 photos per run. For the Sunday "Your week" draft, DUMP instead rates up to 60 photos from the last 7 days with Vision's on-device aesthetics and "utility image" checks (to skip receipts and documents), and gives weight to Favorites and Portrait-mode photos. Neither feature recognises or identifies people;
- Finding trips, on your device. To suggest trip dumps, DUMP reads the location already stored in your photos (their GPS metadata) and groups photos taken at least 75 km away over two or more days. DUMP never requests your device's location;
- Writing your finished dump into a new album in Apple Photos when you choose to save it.
All of this happens in memory and, where necessary, in a temporary working area inside the app's own private storage on your device. Your photos, and anything DUMP works out about them, are never sent off the device.
Limited access is fully supported. If you grant access to selected photos only, DUMP works from exactly those items. If you decline access entirely, the app will tell you which features need it; you can change your decision at any time in Settings → Apps → DUMP → Photos.
Original photos and videos in your library are never modified or deleted by DUMP. Edits are non-destructive. When you save a Swipe Carousel, DUMP adds your original items to the new album (no copies are made); collage pages, and photos with a date stamp, are saved as new images.
4. What is stored on your device
The following is written to DUMP's private container on your iPhone. None of it is accessible to us or to any third party.

There is no cloud copy. Deleting DUMP permanently deletes your projects, and neither we nor Apple can recover them. Dumps you have already exported remain in Apple Photos as ordinary photos and are unaffected.
If your device backs up to iCloud or a computer, app data may be included in that backup under Apple's terms. That backup belongs to you; we have no access to it.
5. Notifications, sharing & camera
- Notifications (optional). If you allow them, DUMP schedules local notifications on your device: occasional or daily reminders within the hours you choose, and the Sunday "Your week" draft and a monthly recap on the 1st. They are created on your device; there is no push server and no notification data is sent to us.
- Sharing to Instagram. When you tap Share to Instagram, DUMP opens Instagram and copies your caption to the clipboard. When you tap "Share cover to Story", an image of that slide is placed on the clipboard for Instagram to read, and it expires after 5 minutes. DUMP does not post anything on your behalf.
- Share text. On the free plan, caption text you copy or share from DUMP ends with a short #DumpApp line. Premium can turn this off. It contains no identifier.
- Sharing to TikTok. When you choose TikTok, DUMP saves your slides to your photo library and opens TikTok, where you pick them yourself. DUMP does not post anything on your behalf.
- Camera and microphone (optional). DUMP has an in-app camera for adding photos and videos to a collage page. It asks your permission first, uses the camera (and the microphone, for sound in videos) only while that screen is open, and saves what you capture to your photo library. Nothing is uploaded.
6. Subscriptions, purchases & Apple
DUMP Premium is sold as an auto-renewing subscription through Apple's In-App Purchase system, on a weekly or yearly plan. Eligible new subscribers may be offered a free trial; if so, its length is shown before you confirm. Where this applies:
- The subscription renews automatically at the end of each period unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the period ends. Your Apple Account is charged for renewal within 24 hours of the period ending;
- A free trial converts to a paid subscription automatically unless cancelled before it ends. Any unused portion of a trial is forfeited if you subscribe before the trial expires;
- You manage and cancel your subscription in Settings → your name → Subscriptions on your iPhone, not inside DUMP. We cannot cancel a subscription on your behalf;
- The current price for your region is fetched from Apple and displayed in the app before you purchase.
When you buy, renew or restore:
- The transaction is processed entirely by Apple. We never receive or store your name, payment card, billing address or Apple Account details, and the app has no server that could receive them;
- The app asks Apple's StoreKit framework whether an active entitlement exists. Making that check involves your device communicating with Apple, under Apple's privacy policy. We do not operate a receipt-validation server, and no such check is routed through us;
- The result — whether Premium is active — is cached on your device so unlocked features continue to work offline. That cached flag contains no identifier and no purchase detail;
- Apple provides us with aggregated, anonymised sales, subscription and download reports through App Store Connect. These contain no information identifying individual users.
Purchases, renewals, refunds and subscription management are governed by Apple's own terms and privacy policy. Refund requests go to reportaproblem.apple.com.
7. Third parties
DUMP bundles no third-party advertising, analytics, attribution or crash-reporting software. The only external party involved in the app is Apple, in its role as distributor, payment processor and subscription administrator.
If you have turned on Share With App Developers (iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements), Apple may share crash reports and usage statistics for DUMP with us, aggregated or in a form that does not identify you (Apple: App Analytics & Privacy). This is Apple's own opt-in system, not code inside DUMP, and you can turn it off in the same place at any time.
If you choose to open Instagram, an email client or another app to share or discuss a dump, that app's own privacy policy applies from that point on. DUMP does not post on your behalf.

If a future version of DUMP introduces any data collection, this table, the App Store label and this policy will be updated in the same release, and the change will be described in section 14.
9. Children
DUMP is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country) and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone. Because the app collects no personal data at all and requires no account, there is nothing for us to hold about a child. Parents with questions may contact us at the address below.
10. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, port or restrict the processing of your personal data, and to object to processing or lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. This includes rights under the GDPR (EU/EEA and UK), the Turkish KVKK (Law No. 6698), and the CCPA/CPRA (California).
In practice, because DUMP holds no personal data on any server:
- Access and portability: everything DUMP stores is already on your device and in your control. Exported dumps live in your own Photos library.
- Deletion: delete a project inside the app, or delete the app, to erase everything it holds. No request to us is required, and no copy survives elsewhere.
- Sale or sharing of personal information: we do not sell or share personal information, and never have. There is no opt-out to exercise because there is nothing to opt out of.
- No discrimination: exercising any right does not affect your access to the app or its features.
If you email us, that email is personal data you have chosen to send. We use it only to reply to you and keep it no longer than needed for that purpose. You can ask us to delete the correspondence at any time.
11. Legal basis for processing
Where the GDPR or KVKK applies, on-device processing of your photos (including the smart selection and trip detection described in section 3) is carried out to perform the service you asked for, since the app cannot build a dump without reading your media, and, where required, on the basis of the permission you grant through the iOS system prompt, which you may withdraw at any time in Settings. Responding to a support email is based on our legitimate interest in providing support to users who contact us.
12. Security
Because DUMP stores everything locally and transmits nothing, the security of your content rests primarily on your device: your passcode or biometric lock and iOS's own app sandboxing, which prevents other apps from reading DUMP's storage. We recommend keeping iOS up to date and using a device passcode.
No method of storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. We also cannot recover data lost through device loss, damage or app deletion, because we never hold a copy of it.
13. This website
This site is a static set of pages hosted on GitHub Pages. It sets no cookies and runs no advertising. To count visits it uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, which stores nothing in your browser and doesn't follow you across other sites or build a profile of you. When a page loads, a small script from Cloudflare reports the page address, the page that linked to it, your browser, operating system and device type, your country (worked out from your IP address) and how quickly the page loaded; we see only totals, never individual visitors. See Cloudflare's privacy policy. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, and your browser's request for them reaches Google's servers, which may log the IP address involved as part of delivering that file. GitHub may also log standard server request data as part of hosting. Neither is used by us to identify you, and no profile is built.
Links to the App Store, Instagram and Apple's refund service lead to services with their own privacy policies.
14. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the app develops. The "Last updated" date at the top always reflects the current version, and material changes — particularly any change to what data is collected — will be described here and reflected in the App Store privacy label in the same release. Continued use of DUMP after an update means you accept the revised policy.
