Solo.Swipe Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 2026

The short version

1. Introduction

Solo.Swipe ("Solo.Swipe", "the app", "we") is an iPhone photo cleaner and organizer developed by Gül Eda Aydemir. This policy explains what the app accesses, what is stored, what is shared with third parties, and the choices available to you. It applies to the Solo.Swipe iOS app and to this website.

By using Solo.Swipe you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the app.

2. Your photos and videos

Solo.Swipe requests access to your photo library so it can show you your photos for review. Access is requested through Apple's standard permission prompt and can be changed or withdrawn at any time in iOS Settings › Privacy & Security › Photos.

Your photos and videos are never uploaded, copied off your device, or shared with any third party. There is no Solo.Swipe server that receives images. All reading, thumbnail generation and analysis happens locally on your iPhone through Apple's PhotoKit framework.

On-device analysis

Features such as Smart Modes and blur detection use Apple's Vision and Core Image frameworks, which run entirely on the device. Solo.Swipe does not send images to a cloud analysis service, and the results of that analysis are used only inside the app during your session.

Deleting photos

Solo.Swipe cannot delete anything on its own. When you confirm a cleanup, the request is passed to iOS, which shows its own confirmation dialog. Deleted items are moved to Apple's Recently Deleted album, where you can restore them for 30 days before iOS removes them permanently. Storage is reclaimed once items leave that album.

3. Data stored on your device

Solo.Swipe stores a small amount of data locally, using Apple's UserDefaults and an App Group container shared with the home screen widget. None of it is sent to a server operated by us. This includes:

This data is removed when you delete the app from your device. You can also reset statistics and review history from within the app's settings.

4. Personal information we do not collect

Solo.Swipe has no account system. We do not ask for, receive or store your name, email address, phone number, contacts, or any similar personal identifier. We do not build a user profile, and we do not sell personal information.

5. Purchases

Solo.Swipe is free to download and offers an optional paid upgrade. Purchases are handled entirely by Apple through StoreKit and the App Store. We never see or receive your payment details. Apple provides the app with the status of your purchase so the app can unlock the corresponding features, and Apple's own privacy policy governs the transaction.

6. Advertising

The free version of Solo.Swipe is supported by advertising delivered through Google AdMob, part of Google Ireland Limited / Google LLC. AdMob is a third-party SDK embedded in the app.

To request and display an ad, the AdMob SDK may process information such as your device type and operating system version, IP address, coarse location derived from that IP address, an advertising identifier, and data about how you interacted with the ad. This information is processed by Google, not by us, and is governed by how Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services and the Google Privacy Policy.

Your photos, videos and photo metadata are never shared with advertising partners. Ads are shown as separate cards or full-screen units and have no access to your library.

The optional paid upgrade removes advertising from the app.

App Tracking Transparency

On iOS, Solo.Swipe uses Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework to ask whether you allow tracking across apps and websites owned by other companies. If you allow it, the advertising identifier (IDFA) may be used to serve personalized ads. If you decline, the identifier is not made available and you will see non-personalized ads instead. Declining does not restrict any feature of the app. You can change this choice at any time in iOS Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking.

Depending on where you live, you may also be asked for additional consent before personalized advertising is used, and you can withdraw that consent later.

7. Analytics and crash reporting

Solo.Swipe does not include a separate analytics product or a third-party crash-reporting service for the purpose of profiling users. Apple may provide us with aggregated, anonymised App Store metrics and crash reports if you have opted in to sharing diagnostics with developers in your iOS settings; these come from Apple in aggregate form and do not identify you.

Note that the advertising SDK described in section 6 does collect device-level data for the purpose of serving ads, as explained there.

8. Location data

Solo.Swipe can group your photos by place. This uses location coordinates that are already embedded in your photos' own metadata by the camera; those coordinates are converted into readable place names on your device. Solo.Swipe does not track your movements and does not transmit your location to us.

9. Notifications

Solo.Swipe can send local reminders about your daily cleaning goal and your streak. These notifications are scheduled and delivered entirely on your device by iOS; they are not push messages sent from a server. Notifications are optional and can be turned off in the app or in iOS Settings › Notifications.

10. Home screen widget

Solo.Swipe offers an optional home screen widget that shows your streak and a photo from your library as a reminder to keep cleaning. The widget reads data from a local App Group container shared with the main app, and the photo it displays is read from your library on the device. No widget data leaves your iPhone.

11. Third parties at a glance

PartyPurposeReceives your photos?
Apple (PhotoKit, Vision, StoreKit, iOS)Photo library access, on-device analysis, purchases, system deletion and notificationsNo — processing happens on your device

12. Children's privacy

Solo.Swipe is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has provided information through the app, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps.

13. Data retention and deletion

Because Solo.Swipe does not send your photos or personal information to a server we operate, there is no remote account or archive for us to delete. All locally stored preferences, statistics and review history are removed when you uninstall the app, and can be reset from the app's settings at any time.

Data processed by Google for advertising is retained according to Google's own policies; see the Google links in section 6 for details and controls.

14. Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights over personal data, such as the right to access, correct, delete or object to processing. Since we do not hold personal data about you, requests about advertising data should be directed to Google; you can also contact us using the details below and we will help where we can.

15. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the app changes. The revision date at the top of this page always reflects the current version, and the latest version is published here. Continued use of Solo.Swipe after an update means you accept the revised policy.
