Terms of use
Plain-language terms for using SHOOTS. By downloading or using the app you agree to them, together with Apple's standard terms for apps.
Effective 22 October 2026
1. Who's who
SHOOTS ("the app") is developed by Gül Eda Aydemir ("I", "me"), an independent developer. You can reach me at solostaseraofficial@gmail.com.
2. Your license
SHOOTS is licensed, not sold, to you under Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the "Standard EULA"). These terms add to the Standard EULA; if the two conflict, the Standard EULA applies. You may use SHOOTS on Apple devices you own or control, as allowed by the App Store's usage rules.
3. SHOOTS+
SHOOTS is free to download. SHOOTS+ is an optional auto-renewing subscription that unlocks additional features, described in the app and on the App Store. The price and billing period are shown in the app and on the App Store before you buy.
- Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase or, if you started a free trial, when the trial ends.
- The subscription renews automatically unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within the 24 hours before the period ends.
- You can manage or cancel it at any time in your Apple Account settings (Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions). Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep SHOOTS+ until the end of the period you paid for.
- Any unused part of a free trial ends when you buy a subscription.
- Purchases are processed by Apple, and refunds are handled by Apple under its policies at reportaproblem.apple.com.
4. Your photos and how you use the app
Everything you capture with SHOOTS belongs to you. I don't receive it and claim no rights to it. You are responsible for how you use the camera: respect other people's privacy, get consent before photographing people, and follow the laws and rules of the places where you shoot.
5. Your device
Hands-free shooting means your iPhone is out of your hands. Put it somewhere stable and safe, keep an eye on it in public places, and avoid heat and direct sun during long shoots. SHOOTS warns you about low battery, low storage and heat and pauses when the iPhone gets too hot, but you're responsible for your device. Photos kept only inside the app are not included in backups; save the ones you want to keep to your Photos library.
6. No warranty
I work hard to make SHOOTS reliable, but it is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. I can't guarantee that every photo will be captured or saved, for example if the device runs out of storage, the camera is interrupted or the app is closed.
7. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, I'm not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for lost photos, data or devices, arising from your use of SHOOTS. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that can't be waived.
8. Changes and ending
I may update SHOOTS and these terms. If the terms change in a meaningful way, the effective date above will change and the app or this page will say so. You can stop using SHOOTS at any time by deleting it.
9. Apple
Apple is not responsible for SHOOTS or its content, maintenance or support, and has no warranty obligations for it beyond those in the Standard EULA. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms. App Store, Apple Watch and iPhone are trademarks of Apple Inc.
